MYER rules
this week we once again saw the fashion wars of the department stores continue. The media continues to focus on dj's, they seem to think for some reason that they are ahead of the game, purely on names. not so, people. from a real world perspective, dj's may indeed have a more snooty vibe going on, but they sure as heck could not possibly be makin as much moolah as myer are. today i was in the city and visited both stores. dj's was so messy that it looked like the xmas sales had been on in the whole designer fashion floor, it was embarrassing really. and there were maybe 50 peeps max on the floor (customers). laaaaame. but in myer, chock a block. ALL of the new season dresses from the runways were there. all of the dresses hawko has on the posters....present. and wearable! not like this sass and bide couture crap dj's buys and although its high fashion, the average fashionista will not actually wear. nude is in big time at myer, so is purple and sparkly things in general. get in quick for spring, cos it's definitely sprung people!
